The story I picked in Apuleius: Her Dream. I really like to learn about ancient life and the things that they believed. The religions I find most intriguing are polytheistic religions. This story also stood out to me because someone is trying to cheer another person up. I always like to read things that make me feel good.
Some of the sections that I find interesting are Egyptian Myth, Fables of La Fontaine and American Indian Tales. I find other cultures very interesting. Especially when they are ancient cultures. They seem to bring out this sort of mythical fantasy that only comes from that time period. It is very interesting to me so see how these people thought and how they viewed the world. I also enjoy Native American stories and tales because of their connection to the earth and nature. Also, I like to read about Native American because of their strength and will. The image below embodies that in my opinion so that is why I chose it.
